Brother Luke

Has had an interest in the spiritual life since his teens but this interest only found an outlet later in life, beginning with becoming a student of meditation.

In 2006 he joined the Order of Dionysis & Paul within the Holy Celtic Church. and is interested in developing his understanding of spiritual disciplines, symbolism, Liturgical studies and alternative and sustainable technologies.

Now retired, his professional background is in information technology, information security and data protection law with a particular interest in how these disciplines are expressions of ethics.

Sister Sophia

Sr Sophia was inspired to explore the mystical path in 1988 and came to discover the Order of Dionysis & Paul. Through this community she learned about and has ever since, practiced the disciplines of prayer and meditation.

Of particular interest has been her exploration and , study of comparative religion and philosophy. including the study of the Bhagavad-Gita, the Upanishads and the Tao-Te-Ching along with the Holy Bible, Apocryphal and pseudepigraphic texts.

Sr Sophia actively works with individuals and small groups within her local community teaching them meditation and facilitating therapeutic meditation for stress management and healing as well as administering sacraments to those who are spiritually ready for this.

Brother Marcus

Married with two children and four grandchildren. He has spent much of his adult life exploring and developing an understanding of spiritual disciplines, including prayer & meditation; symbolism; liturgical studies; mysticism, kabbalah, and spiritual healing methods.

 In 1975 he joined the Order of Dionysis & Paul, a mystical order within the Holy Celtic Church, consisting of men and women committed to living the contemplative life whilst dwelling in the secular world.

Brother Marcus has served the order as Prior-General from 1991. He is an active member of the order and heads up a Study Society called the Fellowship, a society open to all who wish to develop a greater understanding of the Western Mystical Tradition.
